Feeling so very proud to be British right now. That was a stunning celebration, everyone was so joyous and Prince Charles’ speech was heart warming, especially him calling the Queen ‘mummy’.
Also, when everyone cheered for Prince Philip to get well soon and the Queen looked like she was about to cry, my heart broke.
Two things that suddenly made me feel that little more connected to a family who can sometimes seem so out of reach and make me feel like I’m part of their family, as I’m part of their country.
Today, Britain did wonderfully. I think we can all go to bed that little prouder of our country and our wonderful celebrations.
