I’m getting a bit fed up of these people who are resurrecting their ‘Moffat is sexist’ chants after The Crimson Horror. And not just because he didn’t even write it. (Guess what, fact fans. Mark Gatiss wrote this one.)
So, this is the kiss that’s getting their knickers in a twist.
Because how dare the Doctor happily and gratefully kissed a married person without realising how inappropriate it. It was downright insulting. Just because she’s married to a woman. Really, he would never have done that to a straight -
Oh.
That moment where everybody laughed and high-fived when the Doctor spontaneously kissed someone. A married someone.
Nobody complained about that.
Maybe that’s because ‘Moffat’ isn’t the one with the gender issues after all.

I really, really adore Ada. Like, really. I want her to be a future companion with her monster. The Doctor could restore her sight and let her see not only the world, but the whole universe. <3
Just a thought.

Can I just wade into the River/Doctor/Clara debate for a sec.
There appear to be two camps.
Camp ‘omg River will be mad’ and Camp ‘River won’t give a shit.’
You know what? You’re BOTH right.
River WOULD be jealous. That is, young River. Check her out in First Night when she thinks someone might possibly be wearing her dress and going out on a date with her husband. She’s furious and storming around that TARDIS like a wife looking for a mistress.
BUT consider older River. The one who’s a lot less lovestruck, reckless and naive. Older River knows she’s his wife. She doesn’t feel threatened by a Dalek, let alone a young girl. I doubt she’d bat an eyelid to the Doctor sharing a few kisses with awed companions.
It really just depends at what point of her timeline she’s at!
Simple, really!
